    Fall 2025 Storytime

    TUESDAYS AT 9:30 A.M. | SEPTEMBER 23 - DECEMBER 9 | AGES 3-5
    Join us for our fall storytime series. Storytime will run from September 23-December 9. Storytime is 30 minutes of stories, crafts, songs, and rhymes for your little ones. It's free and open to the public. Storytime is centered around fostering early literacy skills and caretaker-child bonding. No registration required - recommended for ages 3-5.

  • Fall Babytime | Begins September 25
    Fall 2025 Babytime

    Join us for our fall babytime series - Sept. 25, Oct. 9, Oct. 23, Nov. 6, Nov. 20, Dec. 4. All sessions begin at 9:30 am. Babytime is a 30-minute lap time that includes, songs, rhymes, lap bounces and important bonding time with the smallest members of your family! It's free and open to the public. Babytime is centered around fostering pre-literacy skills and caretaker-child bonding.

    No registration required | recommended for ages 0-2

  • NEW Library Experience Passes!

    Experience passes are a new item available for checkout at the Carter Memorial Library. We have passes that are available for:

    • Bookworm Gardens | family admission, up to two adults and unlimited children under 18 in the immediate household
    • Building For Kids Children’s Museum | family admission, up to two adults and unlimited children under 18 in the immediate household
    • Wisconsin Historical Society Sites | family admission, up to two adults and unlimited children under 18 in the immediate household
    • State Park Day Passes | day pass for admission of one car
    • Oshkosh Public Museum | family admission, up to two adults and unlimited children under 18 in the immediate household
    • NEW Children's Museum of Fond Du Lac | family admission, primary & secondary caregiver, up to 8 household children, and one adult guest accompanying household children
    • NEW Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center | family admission, up to two adults and four children under 18
    • NEW The Paine Art Center & Gardens | family admission, up to two adults and five youth

    The passes (except for State Park Day Passes) check out for 7 days, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Cover to Cover Book Club
    Cover to Cover Book Club

    Cover to cover is a library book club held at the Carter Memorial Library. Cover to Cover reads historical fiction and light literary fiction. They meet the fourth Thursday of every month, except in November and December (third Thursday). Pick up a physical copy at the Omro Public Library. New members are always welcome!
