Storywalk® is back this fall! Come and check out our fall story featured around the library! StoryWalk® promotes early literacy, physical activity, and family time together in nature. It’s a fun and educational family activity! Take a stroll and enjoy successive pages from a children’s story along your path.

The crayons have escaped! Can you help us find them? Complete the scavenger hunt and win your own copy of The Day the Crayons Quit (one book per family, please). Pick up a sheet at the front desk and see if you can find the crayons in the library! No registration required | recommended for ages 10 and under

Join us for our fall storytime series. Storytime will run from September 10-November 12. Storytime is 30 minutes of stories, crafts, songs, and rhymes for your little ones. It's free and open to the public. Storytime is centered around fostering early literacy skills and caretaker-child bonding.

Join us for our fall babytime series. Babytime will run from September 12-November 14. Babytime is a 30-minute lap time that includes, songs, rhymes, lap bounces and important bonding time with the smallest members of your family! It's free and open to the public. Babytime is centered around fostering pre-literacy skills and caretaker-child bonding.
No registration required | recommended for ages 0-2
Experience passes are a brand new item available for checkout at the Carter Memorial Library. We have passes that are available for:

- Wisconsin Historical Society Sites
- State Park Day Passes
- Oshkosh Public Museum
The passes (except for State Park Day Passes) check out for 7 days, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Bookmarks meets on the third Thursday of the month at 5:30 pm, except for December (no meeting). Hosted at Dauntless Soul Brew Co. (130 E Main Street, Omro). Pick up a physical copy of the book at the Omro Public Library or find the book on Libby or Hoopla! All are welcome to join!
