They will use the Summer Reading Program theme, Color Our World, to explore how animals use color in nature from camouflage to warning signals. You won’t want to miss out!

    Join us for Storytime starting Tuesday, April 1!

    Storytime is 30 minutes of stories, crafts, songs, and rhymes for your little ones. It's free and open to the public. No registration required | recommended for ages 3-5.

  • Babytime | April 3, April 17, May 1, May 15

    Join us for babytime starting Thursday, April 3! Sessions are: April 3, April 17, May 1, May 15. All sessions begin at 10:00 am

    Babytime is a 30-minute lap time that includes, songs, rhymes, fingerplay and important bonding time with the smallest members of your family! It's free and open to the public.

    No registration required. Recommended for ages 0-2.

    Experience Passes

    Experience passes are a new item available for checkout at the Carter Memorial Library. We have passes that are available for:

    • Bookworm Gardens | family admission, up to two adults and unlimited children under 18 in the immediate household
    • Building For Kids Children’s Museum | family admission, up to two adults and unlimited children under 18 in the immediate household
    • Wisconsin Historical Society Sites | family admission, up to two adults and unlimited children under 18 in the immediate household
    • State Park Day Passes | day pass for admission of one car
    • Oshkosh Public Museum | family admission, up to two adults and unlimited children under 18 in the immediate household

    The passes (except for State Park Day Passes) check out for 7 days, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

    Bookmarks meets on the third Thursday of the month at 5:30 pm, except for December (no meeting). Hosted at Dauntless Soul Brew Co. (130 E Main Street, Omro). Pick up a physical copy of the book at the Omro Public Library or find the book on Libby or Hoopla! All are welcome to join!
